Huntington Harbour Community Info
Located just north of Huntington Beach, Huntington Harbour features one of the most affordable luxury-home waterfront communities in all of Southern California. Made up of a collective of five man-made islands, Huntington Harbour was formed in the 1960s and surrounds a network of navigable channels and waterways lined with beautiful multi-million dollar homes, yachts, and endless views.
After the mainland homes were built, Admiralty Island was the first constructed island and contains 90 single-family homes, nearly all with water frontage. Gilbert Island contains 100 homes, two-thirds of which include on-the-water locations and boat docks. Davenport Island, or as locals call it “The Third Island,” consists of 227 homes featuring Mother’s Beach and is evenly split between on and off water locations. Humboldt Island offers 335 homes with views of Christina Bay and the main channel and includes a private beach. Trinidad Island was the last island built and includes 335 homes, one third of which are waterfront. A park runs through the entire island with a beach, and each home, including off-water homes, originally came with a boat dock.
Huntington Harbour offers a relaxed, casual waterfront community where residents enjoy watersports, cruising the harbor, and excellent waterfront dining. The area is close to downtown Huntington Beach and Sunset Beach which are filled with excellent shopping, dining and top rated “Surf City” beaches. Also, with access to the Pacific Ocean via Anaheim Bay, Catalina Island is just a short boat trip—only 22 miles away from Huntington Harbour.
In addition, during the Holiday season, Huntington Harbor residents present a boat parade called “Cruise of Lights,” where residents dress up all of the homes and boats for a parade through the waterways.
